The Battery Show continues to grow globally and opens 2024 registration for new Detroit location
The Battery Show, North America’s event for advanced battery manufacturing and electric vehicles, has opened registration for its new Detroit location, October 7-10 at the Huntington Place. Following record attendance and a 30% increase in exhibitors last year, the show will now host over 1,150 suppliers.
Entering its 14th year, The Battery Show will feature more than 235 speakers across 125 hours of education, including a 5-track conference. Key topics include battery safety, supply chain, EV investments, charging infrastructure, policy and regulations, automation, artificial intelligence, and battery recycling. New this year is a conference track on “Emerging Applications,” covering stationary energy storage, heavy-duty applications, and aviation electrification. Each day will start with keynote addresses from renowned futurists.
“The move to Detroit and significant expansion reflects our commitment to showcasing innovation and expertise in the battery industry,” says John Lewinski, VP of Informa Markets Engineering. The Battery Show has evolved from a US-only event to a global marketplace with events in Stuttgart, Greater Noida (India), and upcoming shows in Atlanta and Hong Kong, highlighting the industry’s rapid growth and the importance of in-person and digital engagement for industry trends and technologies.
