Cissoid and Silicon Mobility have announced a partnership to deliver a complete and modular SiC inverter reference design supporting electric motor drives up to 350 kW/850 V.

The Cissoid module integrates the gate driver board and control board with Silicon Mobility’s OLEA T222 FPCU, DC and phase current sensors, DC link capacitor and EMI filtering together with integrated liquid cooling. Cissoid will also provide the technical support to integrate the inverter into the application.

In addition, Cissoid will sell a licence to use Silicon Mobility’s OLEA inverter software app.

Once the design is complete, the customer can choose to buy the entire inverter from Cissoid or just the power module and control board while buying other components and Inverter housings from their preferred suppliers. The customer can then integrate the inverter into their drive system before moving to production.
